Substrate Features
COOLSKIN is an extruded PVC sheet, with increased impact performance, containing no plasticiser and no mineral fillers, laminated on one face with a highly weatherable, UV resistant, heat reflective vacuum formable decorative finish.
The base substrate material is produced from an unplasticised lead free PVC blend, according to DIN EN ISO 1163-1. The DIN EN ISO 11833-1 technical specification requirements are satisfied. The product also meets ASTM-D1784 class 14454-D standards.

Surface: A comprehensive range of foils and solid colours with colour matches the substrate. The main face is free of blisters, voids, foreign matter, and creases and is perfectly homogeneous.

Decorative Foil
All decorative foils are based on Hornschuch Cool Colour, heat reflective decorative foils. The data below applies to all Hornschuch decorative wood grain and solid colour foils.
Basic Properties
All Hornschuch decorative foils are composed of a semi rigid and UV protected matt acrylic film. All surfaces are embossed.

Cleaning and Maintenance
All CoolSkin sheets are resistant to normal household cleaners and chemicals such as weak ammonia solutions, aliphatic benzene, weak alcohol/water solutions, and non abrasive cleaning agents. The use of bleach, organic solvents, and mixtures containing organic solvents or products made from solvents such as paint thinners, paint removers or adhesives must be avoided.
Cleaning and low maintenance should only be undertaken using a soft non abrasive cloth with soap and water solutions.
