3D Laminates has just completed a record year as installers experience increased demand for laminated door panels and slabs that perfectly match to PVCu door profiles.
The old fashioned and poorly performing door panels of yesteryear have been replaced by a number of modern designs and a striking range of colours which has been recently extended to 26, with the new Irish Oak option. Foiled door panels, foiled glazing cassettes and foiled door profiles make for a more uniform appearance than other materials such as GRP.
The CoolSkin technology that’s inherent in the door skins from 3D Laminates means that remedials are all but a thing of the past, even for dark colours on a south facing door. Customers such as Door Panels, GAP and Nice Door Panels can bear testament to this technological revolution.
A case in point is that a golden oak door frame could be installed with a poor paint or stained imitation GRP golden oak effect door which harnesses a caramel glazing cassette. Alternatively you could have a matching suite of frame, sash, door panel and glazing cassette all with a golden oak foil. In such an installation, it’s clear that the door surface wouldn’t be a true golden oak.
